Those missile units are quite expensive. If Ukraine blows them up on the front and simultaneously bomb facilities in Russia with cheap drones.

Russia will need MORE air defense systems and they are expensive and labour cost with an increased production are NOT going down. That is quite apart from the fact the russian systems are not working very well.

You can move systems around well enough, but that leaves weakned spots at other places. And the russians are not especially smart.
1) All Putins palaces are heavily protected against air attacks. And if Ukraine is smart, they are not going to assasinate Putin. The longer he stays in place and position, the more idiotic decisions he make.
2) Putting up extensive air defence systems to protect oil and oil export facilities the better. There i now a major oil depot that is burning like hell a week after being attacked. That is not something that can be repaired in the forseeable future. To move air defence systems to these facilities is a classic case of closing the stable door AFTER the horse has bolted.
3) As long as Russia is using a million USD missile to bring down a 100.000 USD drone. Then the drone has had the effect.
