Nordisk militært samarbejde i Østersøen.

Hmm.... The coordination between fighter aircraft and missile/gun AAA is one of the scariest and most complicated command and communication tasks. The simple answer is you DON'T - Either you have the fighters way ahead of the AAA or the fighter way back. But in air defence on the command level - you have a Weapons Allocator that assigns the specific weapon to each target to be killed.
The problem with NASAM is that it uses AMRAAM missiles - and they are quite pricy. They cost about 10 times more than GMLR rocket. The advantage is that NASAM requires substancially less personel to operate than other systems.
The cost issue of the missiles could be solved by substantial orders of a missile allready in production so the basic kinks have been sorted out, and it is the standard missile for air defence fighters as well.
The point is that it will be the standard missile system for the entire Nordic Air Defence zone which has been established. I surmise it will equip the coming corvette class of the Danish Navy.
The point being that the AMRAAM will be a round of ammunition for different systems, which will ease the logistical burden quite a lot. And practical use of the system by Ukraine will reveal some flaws that will have to be corrected, so the need is urgent in Ukraine and the planning of the entire air defence for the Nordic and Baltic region sublement each other. And substancial orders for the entire system as well can be placed with Kongsberg - which should bring cost down. The indication of the Norwegean PM speaks to that.
As to low cost drones - well here the solution is probably a medium mashine gun like the MG3 putting a hell of a lot of lead in the sky.
This is just one project where the Nordic countries will cooperate - which will also benefit Ukraine.
Two other systems spring to mind from the Swedish side:
a) The CV90 with the 35 mm Bushmaster III gun - which is arguably the best Infantry Combat Vehicle on tracks. It is allready in Ukrainian Service.
b) The ARCHER wheeled artilleri system - which should bring down the shell consumption dramatically - simply by hitting what they aim at. Here Russia complies beautifully by providing lots of targets.
So.... "The Usual Suspects", as the Serbian PM calls them: The Nordic Countries and the Netherlands/Belgium is definately a thing.
