Not surprisingly, Denmark’s housing bubble, which had actually begun to look a bit frayed around the edges, has recently revived with great gusto. The same is happening in Norway and Sweden, two countries in which household debt, mortgage credit and house prices are likewise chasing one record after another. Regulators in these countries – this is to say, members of the same class of bureaucrats that is responsible for creating these bubbles with ultra-loose monetary policy in the first place, are now declaring themselves to be “worried” about the monsters they have let loose.

Det har de også al mulig grund til at være. Det er nu mest de såkaldte "bankøkonomer"

Der har hele tiden været en snak om det fremragende realkreditsystem bla. bla. bla....

Man glemmer bare at nævne, at man intet har sagt om realkreditinstutterne og bankernes overlevelse. Papiret er så uendeligt vigtigere end banksvinene.

Sagen er jo den, at der er ikke egenkapital tilbage i bankerne. Det ved alle - deres regnskabsfusk overbeviser ingen.
Så er spørgsmålet, hvad man stiller op! Skatteyderne vil under ingen omstændigheder betale tabene. Debitorerne hverken kan eller vil. Det bankerne frygter i øjeblikket er en tilbagestrøming af kapital fra "parkeringspladsen" i USD.
Den vil komme selektivt til de papirer, som formidles udenom bankerne.
Det vil så også blive dyrere at finansiere de tabte fordringer.
